Chapter Synopses

Book I ~ Hamad the Prophet

Chapter I ~ Yehuda

In a desperate effort to stop humankind's greatest mistake, the Crucifixion of Jesus, Judas Iscariot falls headlong and impales himself on a tree limb. And as he hangs there dying, he prays for a second chance... And he gets it. The limb breaks and he falls...

Chapter II ~ Nemesis

As a thief in the night steals the unstealable, a pitch black planet from the primal void throws Saturn months ahead in its orbit, and only one man is there to witness it. One thing is sure... there will be a catastrophic impact... on the astrology industry.

Chapter III ~ Hamad

...and lands in the middle of the desert, in a very strange, wonderful world... the 21st Century. And the 12 Islamic Pilgrims don't know what to make of this man, who fell from the sky whose last memory was nearly 2000 years ago. Judas begins to learn of the Mahdi, and Islam's plans for the Kingdom of God over all the earth. That's an interesting coincidence.

Chapter IV ~ The Book of Abby

Was Abby Quinn the Seventh Sign? If the Seals have been broken, how can one woman stop the end of the world? Can she? Only for a little... A witness to the events of The Seventh Sign tells the story of Abby, and how breaking a prophecy doesn't mean that God breaks a promise.

Chapter V ~ Home

What if you could ask God anything? What if you could understand it all? What if Jesus would explain your part in the Chaos that is life? Wouldn't you like that opportunity? It's easy... all you have to do is die.

Chapter VI ~ Whispers in the Sand

The pilgrims say that on the way to Mecca, the sand whispers to you. But Judas isn't sure he likes what it is saying. They tell of the Great Satan who seeks to enslave all of Islam, and if The Kingdom of God, promised to Daniel and Mohammed, is to rule the world, then someone is going to have to take down the Great Satan known as... America!

Chapter VII ~ The Visitors

Imagine your life completely toppled, you have a new baby boy, but your house and city are gone, your career is ended, and your wife was killed by an insane priest. What could be worse? What if the priest showed up at your door?

Chapter VIII ~ Beginning of Miracles

For a man who was a disciple of Jesus to learn the complexities of God's plan for the 21st Century planet, it would take the ability to speak and read Arabic... which would also take a miracle. But being a disciple of Jesus, Judas knows that to get a miracle, you just ask.

Chapter IX ~ Mecca

What would you do if you saw half a million followers of your God worshiping together? What would you do if the man many think to be the Mahdi were killed by a sniper in their midst? What would Jesus do? He'd raise him from the dead, of course. Judas was an Apostle. He has that power. OK, then what would the half a million witnesses do?

Chapter X ~ The Sky Shows Signs

If you are a logical, scientific person, then predictions by The Bible and Nostradamus are poppycock. So when Nostradamus says that Saturn will be late on his return, it is probably a coincidence that Saturn is missing! Right? There must be a reasonable explanation. Just as there is a reasonable explanation for how a man who was killed in Mecca is doing an interview with the BBC. Right?

Chapter XI ~ Ibrahim's Sons

Father Abraham had many sons. Two of them didn't get along, and neither did their families, for the next 4200 years. And if Islam is to rule the world, Abraham's children, the Arabs and the Israelis, will have to get along. But that could never happen... unless, of course, someone was to unite Islam and Judaism!

Chapter XII ~ The Cloud

What would better help two warring brothers get along than a gift? But what gift do you give to someone you've been fighting with for 4200 years. How about the Ark of the Covenant? But how do you get it? Try asking the One who buried it. And, by the way, you might want to leave your shoes on. That Bush is going to burn very, very hot!

Chapter XIII ~ The Return

The Ark arrives back in Israel after several millennia. Certainly, the Messiah will be arriving soon. But, when the prophecies of the Old Testament talked about the coming of The Messiah, did they mention that he would be arriving in a military jet?

Chapter XIV ~ The Showdown

The Ark of God faces off against the false arks. God knows which one is the True Ark, and Judas knows how to reveal it. After all, you wouldn't want to worship a counterfeit, would you?

Chapter XV ~ The Epistle of Jesus to Judas

If Jesus hand wrote you a letter, wouldn't you want to read it? And if He told you to 'wait until it was time', wouldn't being flung 2000 years into the future where you are the central figure of both Islam and Judaism be a good time? Now, if you could only find it...

Chapter XVI ~ The Rock

Problem: The Ark of the Covenant needs to rest in the Jewish Temple, but there is an Islamic Mosque standing very near, if not on top of the spot. What to do? Well, Judas is now the highest ranking religious figure in both Islam and Judaism. He'll think of something... He simply needs to 'think inside the box.' What the heck is a Jewish Mosque?

Chapter XVII ~ The Black House Falls

The center of Islam is Mecca, and there are many Islamic Kings. But if the Kingdom of God is to be the One King, ruling from Jerusalem, what then is to become of Mecca and the other kings? Oh, dear... But who is powerful enough to bring that to pass? How about Azrael, The Angel of Death?

The first book ends, but the End is just beginning.

Book II ~ Judas Christ

Chapter XVIII ~ Final Approach

With all that is at stake, and with all of the tight security, there is no way that anyone could sabotage a Space Shuttle Launch, unless it was an inside job. But the most amazing thing about the technological marvel is the spirit of the humans inside.

Chapter XIX ~ The New Life (and Death)

Jesus promised a "New Life" and life more abundantly. But that wasn't what He was referring to when a plague sweeps to the boundaries of Africa, carried by life itself. Those affected are nearly immortal... if they survive.

Chapter XX ~ The REAL War on Terror

When peace and security become the order of the day, then the Chaos of Terror will rear its ugly head. How do you stop a terrorist? Send someone who is even more terrible to terrify them. Send them a Black Angel to scare them to death...

Chapter XXI ~ High Places

Every puppet has his puppeteer. But often, the puppeteers have strings on them, as well. What weapon can you wield against them? Try pointing their own gun at them. Trivia question: What can you get on a satellite in Kazakhstan that you can't get on the Space Shuttle... besides vodka!

Chapter XXII ~ The Ultimate Weapon

In life, like a game of poker in the Old West, a pair can beat a straight, if played properly. And like an Old West showdown, it's not the biggest gun, or even the fastest draw, but the best aim that wins. And sometimes, to win a showdown, you need a pair of guns.

Chapter XXIII ~ Under the Altar

Every religion experiences persecution. How sad that it is often from others in that same religion doing the persecution. But where is it written that it has to be that way? In the Book of the Revelation, of course.

Chapter XXIV ~ He Has No Father

Is it a sin to be poor? Can God forgive your hunger? Someone once said 'If thou art the Son of Man, command these stones be made bread.' Well, if someone turns stone into bread, who does that make him? And by what miracle does a poor loser become the child of the King? The miracle is love...

Chapter XXV ~ Runners take your mark... Get Set...

What if someone promised to end poverty, ignorance, sickness, suffering? Would you accept the offer? This is not a game... of course, you would. Just hold out your right hand... this will only hurt a little bit...

Chapter XXVI ~ Search for Darkness in the Light

Saturn was thrown for a loop. Whatever did it was massive! So why can't the top scientists find it? Maybe they don't have enough faith. And why is the Book of Revelation such a mystery to some people. Maybe because they don't have a degree in astrophysics!

Chapter XXVII ~ The Gathering of Old Friends

How many times can a person die? If Jesus tells a dead person to arise, why would they have to die again? Being immortal has some wonderful advantages, compound interest, your wine cellar, no wrinkles... And if love doesn't last forever, hatred does.

Chapter XXVIII ~ The First Temptation of Lucci

A woman who has never truly known love meets a man who has never loved a woman. Are they the perfect couple or what? Isn't it ironic that the man, who has been waiting for so long to go, when the time draws near, finds a reason to stay?

Chapter XXIX ~ Tools of the Schism

An ancient puzzle is being solved, one piece at a time. Judas and the Pope may hold the final pieces. Lucci knows the pieces fit because he watched them fall away.

Chapter XXX ~ Probability Takes a Holiday

An unlikely team of astroscientists, the Vatican and one humble webmaster draw a bead on an invisible intruder. And they fear that they may have found its next prey. But the Universe goes insane as the Finger of Chaos seems to keep pointing at one man... Lucci.

Chapter XXXI ~ It's That Simple

A question is raised... Does Jesus need help? The answer to that question rips the Church at the seam, and the Mystery of Mysteries is revealed.  Meanwhile, Russell Quinn, in his good heartedness, helps a woman strangely beleaguered by a crowd, and she returns the favor by helping him take care of his baby boy.  But who is his guest slash nanny? And what is 'the gift' that she has? And why is she in his dreams? And who is watching the baby? His Mother in Heaven... It's that simple.

Chapter XXXII ~ The Waltz of Joy

After delving deep into Church History with a man who had lived through it all, The Holy Father and Lucci arrive at a very frightening difference of opinion. When Jesus prayed for 'the Son of Perdition', was He praying for The AntiChrist, or Judas? With a possible answer looming, The Holy Father instead goes waltzing with The Holy Mother. Or was it a polka?

Chapter XXXIII ~ If Thou Be...

Like a bride and a groom, that which is offered too soon is a temptation. So too, when Jesus was offered the Kingdoms of the World by Satan, He was being tempted. But... perhaps now is the time. Judas is offered the same things that Satan tempted Jesus with. Would it be a sin for Judas to accept? Not if he is the one they were intended for in the first place!

Chapter XXXIV ~ Judas Christ

The Universe is going insane, the Church is at war with itself, but Islam and Judaism are one big happy family. The pieces have come together. Judas knows who he is! Now the only thing left is to tell the Good News to the entire world.

And so Book 2 ends, but the End is not yet. The fun has yet to begin!
